A New Hampshire family photographer who believes the everyday is worth photographing — and that getting in front of the camera shouldn't feel stressful.
Hello, I'm Melanie
My biggest joy is capturing the relationships and unique personalities of children and families — providing you a story of life you can see, touch, and remember.
It all began after almost losing my husband. Coming to grips with the reality of how short life is, photography became a therapy of sorts for me. Preserving images of the people and moments in my life became essential.
I don't want anyone to be in the position of having nothing tangible of those loved ones and their memories. And I'm sure your desire is to preserve the memories of those who matter to you, too.
With my experience in photography, and being a mother of four and grandmother of seven, I connect easily with kids. I spend a little 'get to know me' time with them at the start of every session, before I bring out the big black box (aka the camera).
Focus on You
Focused on you, every step of the way
Guiding you every step of the way. No rushing, taking the time you need for your session, and working with you to make it an enjoyable experience. Every heirloom product is designed especially for you — I do all the work so you end up with art for your home that fits perfectly, not a pile of digital files.
A photograph is the pause button of life.
